Senior Solar Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare

  solar PV system designs

  , layouts, and schematics for rooftop & ground-mount projects.
• Create

  SLD, GA drawings, earthing & lightning protection design

  , string configuration, and cable routing.
• Conduct

  site feasibility

  , load analysis, and shadow analysis using relevant tools.
• Perform

  energy yield estimation

  using PVsyst/Helioscope.
• Prepare

  BOQ/BOM

  , material specifications, and cost estimations.
• Select appropriate

  modules, inverters, structures, cables

  , and balance-of-system components.
• Ensure designs comply with

  IEC/IS standards

  , DISCOM guidelines, and safety codes.
• Provide

  technical support

  to project, procurement, and sales teams.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure technical compliance.
  
• Provide

  design optimization

  to improve performance and reduce cost.
• Support

  approval processes

  , including utility/distribution companies and government nodal agencies.
• Coordinate with site teams for

  as-built drawings

  and revisions.
