Senior Solar Design Engineer

You will lead the design and optimization of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and electrical regulations. Your responsibilities will include: - Electrical designing of LT/11KV and up to 33KV solar plant. - Managing cross-functional teams to execute solar projects from inception through installation and commissioning. - Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal solar solutions for diverse client needs. - Collaborating with stakeholders to develop innovative strategies that enhance the performance and efficiency of solar installations. - Staying abreast of advancements in solar technology and regulatory changes to inform project decisions. - Preparing detailed drawings (including architectural, fabrication, and construction), design calculations, and Bill of quantities for the development of solar power projects. - Conducting Shadow Analysis and Contour Mapping. - Handling documentation regarding submission, revision & approval as per Master Drawing List (MDL). - Performing AC & DC cable sizing, earthing calculation, PV system Reports, and string configurations. - Reviewing designs of Electrical, civil, and structural plans, specifications, calculations, and studies. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Previous experience in solar energy system design and optimization. - Knowledge of industry standards and electrical regulations. - Strong project management skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
