Job Description

As a Senior Software Support Engineer, you will be responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support activities, working in shifts to align with customer sites" operating time zones. You will collaborate with global customer support teams to analyze and resolve issues reported by customers. Effective communication skills are essential to debrief issues to development/senior management teams and document them. Working within a team of technically strong engineers, you will guide juniors in the support teams and possess knowledge of application deployment technologies. Fixing software bugs, testing, and maintaining software are crucial tasks for you. Responsibilities: - Strong understanding of customer con-ops and ability to comprehend reported issues - Offer immediate workarounds for issue resolution - Analyze complex customer-reported issues and identify root causes independently - Analyze logs and data from customer environments to understand issue scenarios - Strong debugging skills to pinpoint root causes of issues - Provide software issue fixes in collaboration with the development team - Update service management portal with latest issue updates - Update product knowledge base with newly reported issues - Raise and track tickets in Jira portal - Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and reading - Complete assigned tasks on time and according to processes - Contribute to critical bug fixes and feature development tasks Qualifications: - B.E/B.Tech (M.E/M.Tech preferred) in EEE/ECE/CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience - 6 to 9 years of experience in respective technologies Specific Knowledge And Skills: - Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts - Good programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, and Redis - Strong programming skills for MS-SQL and Postgres databases - Knowledge of microservices architecture and AWS services - Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes technologies - Experience with Angular 12+ Soft Skills: - Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong teaming abilities - Commitment to ongoing training and self-learning - Good time management and organizational skills,
