Senior Software Support Engineer

Role Overview: Our Product Engineering group at GLG is looking for a Software Support Engineer to assist in enhancing and maintaining GLG's software that connects companies worldwide with experts for on-demand decision-making. As a member of the Product Engineering team, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and users to address issues and enhance our technology. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure continuous operation and reliability of GLG's critical systems. - Collaborate with Engineering and Helpdesk to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. - Identify and resolve issues promptly. - Work with IT security to address security vulnerabilities. - Communicate resolutions to stakeholders and articulate technical solutions to non-technical individuals. Qualifications Required for an Ideal Candidate: - Minimum 7 years of work experience. - Proficiency in languages and technologies used at GLG such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and SQL. - Ability to analyze and amend issues within a large existing codebase. - Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. - Capability to investigate and diagnose system problems effectively. - Excellent communication skills to interact with individuals of varying technical expertise levels.
