Senior Software Support Engineer

As a Software Support Engineer at GLG, you will be a crucial part of the Product Engineering team, dedicated to enhancing and maintaining GLG's software that facilitates connections between companies worldwide and experts who provide valuable insights for informed decision-making. Your collaboration with engineers, product managers, and users will be essential in troubleshooting issues and enhancing our technology platform. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the continuous functionality and reliability of GLG's critical systems, collaborating with Engineering and Helpdesk teams to address and resolve system issues, diagnosing and resolving identified issues, partnering with IT security to address security vulnerabilities, and effectively communicating resolutions to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 7 years of work experience, a strong knowledge of programming languages and technologies utilized at GLG such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and SQL. Additionally, you should have the capability to navigate and rectify issues within a large existing codebase, a keen interest in problem-solving and teamwork, proficiency in investigating and diagnosing system problems, and excellent communication skills to convey technical solutions to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.
