Senior Software Engineer - Quality

Job Description: As a Quality Analyst at our Workassist Hiring Partner, your primary responsibility will be to lead in-sprint testing, shift-left quality, and test automation for the XBS platform. You will design and implement scalable test frameworks using Karate, Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, and AI-based testing tools. Additionally, you will plan and manage CI/CD pipelines and contribute to release management processes to ensure smooth, reliable deployments. Your role will also involve defining and monitoring Quality KPIs such as test coverage, defect leakage, MTTR, and release readiness. You will be driving contract testing, chaos testing, and performance testing using tools like JMeter. Collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers will be essential to ensure intuitive, high-value user experiences. In addition, you will support and validate cloud migration efforts, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance in cloud-native environments. Promotion of test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and quality gating using tools like SonarQube will be part of your responsibilities. Continuous evaluation and improvement of testing tools, processes, and strategies will also be expected. Stay current with the latest Quality Engineering trends and tools, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance team capabilities.
