Senior Software Engineer - Quality

Job Description: You will be responsible for leading in-sprint testing, shift-left quality, and test automation for the XBS platform. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable test frameworks using Karate, Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, and AI-based testing tools. Additionally, you will plan and manage CI/CD pipelines and contribute to release management processes to ensure smooth, reliable deployments. Monitoring Quality KPIs such as test coverage, defect leakage, MTTR, and release readiness will be crucial. You will drive contract testing, chaos testing, and performance testing using tools like JMeter. Collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers will be essential to ensure intuitive, high-value user experiences. Supporting and validating cloud migration efforts to ensure quality, scalability, and performance in cloud-native environments will also be part of your responsibilities. Promoting test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and quality gating using tools like SonarQube will be encouraged. Continuous evaluation and improvement of testing tools, processes, and strategies will be expected. Staying current with the latest Quality Engineering trends and tools and proactively recommending improvements to enhance team capabilities will be vital for success in this role.
