Senior Software Engineer (Python)

**Location:** : Bangalore**Job Type:** : Full-time, Permanent**Job Summary:**We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend (Python) Developer to join our Product Engineering Team, which is responsible for architecting and developing backend services that power our AI-driven SaaS platform
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated engineer with strong backend architecture skills, deep technical expertise in Python, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems This role involves designing resilient backend solutions, optimizing performance, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative features **Key Responsibilities:**- Architect, design, and develop backend services aligned with product and business requirements - Prototype and iterate solutions to meet evolving product needs in an agile environment - Take end-to-end ownership of development tasks including design, implementation, testing, and documentation - Participate in estimating, planning, and prioritizing development tasks to ensure timely delivery - Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in a cloud/SaaS environment - Collaborate regularly with Product Management, QA, and Design teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and user needs **Required Qualifications and Skills**- 6-7 years of hands-on software development experience using Python - Expertise in backend frameworks such as Django or Flask - Strong experience in MongoDB including database design, query optimization, and use of ODM (Object Document Mapping) - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures - Familiarity with message queues (eg RabbitMQ) - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and protocols - Experience writing unit tests, performing debugging, and conducting code reviews - Solid working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, Boto3, S3, Textract, SES) and scalable cloud architectures
