Senior Software Engineer (PEGA Support & Administration)

As a Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will take on the responsibility of leading moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments. You will contribute to large-scale planning of strategies and be involved in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for projects and programs associated with the technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Your role will also involve reviewing moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures, resolving issues, and leading a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients" needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead projects, act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff. Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Additional Required Skills: - Proficiency in Red Hat Linux OS, networking, and storage. - 3 years of experience in Pega deployment, administration, and support. - Certification in PEGA and Cloud is mandatory. - Experience in managing deploy and support Pega applications on OpenShift or any other private cloud environment. - Experience in PEGA application cloud migrations in private, SAAS, or public environments. - Knowledge of middleware products such as Tomcat. - Familiarity with Databases (Oracle/MSSQL/PostgreSQL). - Experience in supporting business critical applications including maintenance, tech refresh, and cloud migration. - Understanding of software development processes. - Experience working in an Agile model. - Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including senior management. - Experience in supporting an enterprise-level environment. - Strong team or technical leadership experience. - Ability to quickly grasp complex business issues, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions. Desired Qualifications: - Deployment of PEGA applications in OpenShift and SaaS environments. - Engineering PEGA platform in the cloud. - Building, upgrading, migrating, and supporting PEGA applications. - Development and deployment of PEGA apps in OpenShift or any other private cloud environment. - Experience or knowledge in Pega SAAS environments. - Automation/scripting skills in Python, Java, or any other relevant tools.
