Job Description

Project description
We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Python, and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions within a cloud-enabled environment. The role involves working on high-impact applications, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging Azure cloud for deployment and management. The engineer will play a key role in architecture discussions, mentoring juniors, and ensuring high-quality software delivery within an Agile/Scrum setup.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Java and Python.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for continuous software delivery.

Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues and defects.

Contribute to software architecture design and provide technical leadership.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure best practices in software development.

Mentor and guide junior engineers on coding standards and technical practices.

Skills
Must have

Proficiency in Java and Python programming.

Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.

Exposure to Azure Cloud services (deployment, management).

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams and collaborate effectively. Nice to have

Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.

Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.

Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

Relevant certifications (cloud, programming, Agile).

Background in static reference data or payments systems.
