Senior Software Engineer - Java Developer

As a Java Developer at our company in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, you will be responsible for performing general application development activities using Java, Spring Boot on GCP. Your role will involve maintaining and enhancing high-scale applications from the backend to UI layer, focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability. You will be tasked with applying modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code. Additionally, you will triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on network or service operations and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general application development activities using Java, Spring Boot on GCP - Maintain and enhance high-scale applications focusing on operational excellence, security, and scalability - Apply modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code - Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact - Work across teams to integrate systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset - Document code/processes for easy understanding by other developers - Actively participate in estimation processes, project planning, user story grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc. - Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of overall IT experience - 4+ years experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices - 2+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure - 2+ years experience with source code management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github), CICD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code - 2+ years experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle Additional Company Details (if available): - Not specified in the provided Job Description.
