Senior Software Engineer - Java Developer

As a Full-time Application Developer in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, your primary responsibility will be to perform general application development tasks using Java and Spring Boot on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes unit testing, code deployment to various environments, and maintaining and enhancing high-scale applications from the backend to the UI layer. Your focus will be on operational excellence, security, and scalability while solving problems of medium complexity. You will be expected to apply modern software development practices such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code. Additionally, you will triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing their sources and impact on network or service operations and quality. Collaboration with other teams to integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset will also be a part of your responsibilities. Documenting code and processes will be crucial to ensure seamless collaboration among developers. You will actively participate in estimation processes, project planning, user story grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc. Cloud Certification is strongly preferred for this role. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of overall IT experience. You must possess 4+ years of experience working with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with 2+ years of experience in Cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure. Proficiency in source code management systems (e.g., SVN/Git, Github), CICD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code is required. Experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle is also necessary. What could set you apart in this role is being a self-starter who can identify and respond to priority shifts with minimal supervision. An awareness of the latest technologies and trends, willingness to learn and grow, UI development skills (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap), experience in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, XP), familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), and proficiency in Atlassian tooling (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github) will be advantageous. Moreover, developing with modern JDK (v1.7+) would be beneficial for this position.,
