Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Work as part of a global, cross-functional team to build and operate innovative services/platforms for Inovalon applications.
• Work with product management to scope and estimate product enhancements;
• Take ownership of problems and continuously strive to become a better problem solver;
• Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Actively participate in the ongoing change management process as business and technical scope is adjusted.
• Participate in design and code reviews with other engineers.
• Create automated unit, system and acceptance tests.
• Responsible for assigned integration, testing and deployment tasks.
• Fix software defects (internal or customer reported) following defined process.
• Scope of work is typically at the service/feature level.
• Actively foster continuous team improvement in self and team.
• Contribute to team retrospectives; Help to identify and resolve team impediments.
• Maintain compliance with Inovalons policies, procedures and mission statement;
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalons Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
• Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5+ years experience of related professional experience, prior software engineering experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
• Experience working with C#, .NET
• Experience working with front-end Programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)
• Experience in application development with Net Core 3.1+ MVC is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, SQL Stored Procedures and RBMS
• Experience working with managed services in public cloud like GCP, AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with Containers and Kubernetes will be a plus.

Skill Set

Experience - 5+ Years

Backend - C#, ASP.Net, .net core, web API, MVC

Front End - Angular or React with Typescript

Cloud - Any public cloud (6 months experience)
