Senior Software Engineer

As a Functional Testing Specialist at Incedo, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications under test through comprehensive functional testing. You will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies that cover system testing, regression testing, and role-based testing. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help identify defects, validate business requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of the application

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and execute functional test cases for Salesforce applications, focusing on system testing, regression testing, and role-based access validation.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems to ensure seamless functionality and data flow.Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test summary reports.Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities.Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.Support automation efforts where applicable, experience with playwright will be an added advantage.Provide feedback and recommendations for improving application functionality and user experience.

Technical Skills
Strong experience in functional testing of Salesforce applications, including system testing, regression testing, and role-based access testing.Proficient in manual and automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or other relevant frameworks.Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools and techniques, including validation of workflows, permissions, and data integrity across modules.Deep understanding of Agile testing methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Skilled in using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM) for tracking test cases, defects, and reporting.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.Ability to align testing strategies with the companys long-term vision and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Automation Testing using playwright or hands-on experience on JMeter.

4-6 years of work experience in relevant field
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
