Job Description

Sr. Software Engineer III - Java, Spring Boot, API - Chennai

Experience: 8 To 10 Years of Experience.

Requirement: Sr. Software Engineer III (Java/Spring Boot/API Development)

Looking for a Java Sr. Software Engineer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications and you will be part of a talented software team.

Responsibilities:

-Hands-on with (Java/Spring Boot/API development) technologies and Good to have lead Responsibility.
-User Story Analysis, Debugging & Resolve bugs.
-Write High Quality Maintainable Production Grade Code as per the defined Designs.
-Write API level Test cases as per the scenarios described by QA/BA/Other Development team members.
-The quality of all Test codes should also be of production grade.
-API design and Development, API documentation.
-Participation and contribution to the release activities and coordination.
-Excellent reasoning & analytical skills
-Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Spring framework 5. x with deep knowledge in the following modules, Mandatory Spring Core, MVC, Spring Data, Spring Integration Optional Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Cloud.
-Excellent understanding of REST API, ability to define & maintain REST API as per best practices and conventions.
-Troubleshooting, bottleneck identification & fixes of performance issues related to Java backend code or SQL queries by Profiling Java code with any tool.
-Mentoring Tech teams in solving bottlenecks, and quickly developing POCs.
-Code Repo process, Release process, Deployment process.

Good To have:
-Experience in Agile software development methodologies e.g. SCRUM -Good to have hands-on with SQL which was used by the Middle layer.

Must-Have:
-Core Java, Java EE, Spring Framework (Spring 4+, Spring boot 2+), Hibernate 4+, SQL, JPA/Spring Data JPA, JavaScript/Typescript, JUnit/Mockito, Backend DB Understanding, GIT/Bitbucket, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, REST/SOAP, Microservices, SOA, SaaS, SSO, Build tools.
