Senior Software Engineer II

The Principal Software Engineer II role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. You should have hands-on exposure to 80% Python development and 20% React development. As a Principal Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing high-quality and innovative software that complies with coding standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software deliverables, including designs, codes, and tests, are completed on time and in line with industry and organizational standards. Your key responsibilities will include providing support to engineering teams, researching, analyzing, and documenting findings. You may also influence others within the software engineering team, design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems critical to the company's operations. Additionally, you will debug production issues, improve organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes, and participate in the testing process. You must evaluate codes to ensure validity, proper structure, alignment with industry standards, and compatibility with operating systems. It is essential to stay updated on current technologies and programming practices through continuous education and participation in professional events. To excel in this role, you should be able to work independently with general supervision, adapt to new technologies and processes as per business requirements, and possess knowledge of relevant programming languages and software basics. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial. You should also have practical knowledge of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience is recommended for this position.
