As a member of the team at Optum, your role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable microservices on Microsoft Azure. You will be pivotal in facilitating the connection of individuals with essential care, pharmacy benefits, data, and resources to improve their well-being. Your efforts will contribute to creating a positive impact on the communities served and advancing health equity globally. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable microservices across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on Microsoft Azure. - Establish, refine, and integrate CI/CD, feature testing automation, and performance testing as necessary. - Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues. - Optimize applications, public cloud infrastructure cost, cloud best practices, scalability, and high availability. - Provide technical leadership, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor less experienced Developers. Qualifications Required: - Graduation or Post Graduation in Computer Science/Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience. - Proficiency in .Net Core, Angular, REST, and Azure Cloud Certification, preferably Azure. - 7 years of development experience utilizing C# Programming. - Ability to conceptualize the overall solution for specified functional and non-functional requirements and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks for its implementation. - Proficient in designing and developing the system framework, explaining choices made, and preparing design documents. - Skilled in creating, understanding, and validating Design and estimated effort for a given module/task, along with justifications. - Capable of identifying and integrating integration points within a project and other applications in the environment. - Experienced in delivering professional-level technical work to support the development of company products, tools, platforms, and services. - Knowledgeable in problem-solving techniques and collaborating closely with other functions to comprehend customer needs and create product roadmaps. - Proficient in designing and implementing secure web services and database schemas, with a good understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
