Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer at BlackLine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality releases of web applications. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the UI/UX components for BlackLine's products. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise in designing and delivering UI/UX components while maintaining coding standards and quality. - Develop, test, debug, optimize, and enhance user-facing elements, ensuring high-quality features for customers. - Establish and communicate coding standards, address UX design issues, and create robust solutions. - Implement software development techniques to meet integration, performance, security, and maintainability requirements. - Research and assess new UI tools and technologies, recommending suitable implementation strategies. - Mentor and guide team members, assisting them in resolving complex issues and upholding software quality. - Identify areas for improvement, advocate for change, and drive enhancements. - Support maintenance, deployment, and release activities, including off-hours assistance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 6+ years of experience in Front End software development. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue. - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Experience with performance optimization, Single Page Applications, and source control tools. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred. - Dedication to engineering excellence through automation, unit testing, and process enhancements.
