Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

As a member of the Focal team at FalconX, you will play a crucial role in utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance institutional access to the crypto markets. Your primary responsibilities will involve: - Utilizing the latest processes and technology to develop scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant site/software systems - Researching and evaluating new methodologies and technologies to enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of frontend engineering systems - Applying usability principles to optimize application builds for an improved user experience - Developing responsive interfaces capable of handling real-time market data and large financial datasets - Collaborating with senior and junior frontend teams to prioritize and estimate new features and enhancements with a consumer-focused approach To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and requirements: - Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering with a minimum of 3 years in React and Redux Framework - Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, along with experience in Bootstrap and Webpack - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and UI/UX design principles - Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills - Comfortable with frontend, backend, or datastore as needed - Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures - Experience with TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and RTK Query for state management - Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, ECharts, ApexCharts, AG-Grid, Plotly.js - Experience with real-time data streaming, WebSocket implementations, and financial data handling - Familiarity with Material-UI (MUI) component library and Tailwind CSS - Bonus points for experience in ML with TensorFlow, MLlib, H2O, etc. - Bonus points for experience with AI/ML integration in frontend applications FalconX is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and safe workspace for all individuals.
