As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on JavaScript/TypeScript/React, you will play a vital role in the development team responsible for creating, enhancing, and supporting TV SDKs. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks such as SDK development, documentation, testing, version control, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and keeping abreast of Smart TV advancements. - **SDK Development:** Design, build, and maintain JavaScript-based SDKs to integrate with Smart TV platforms like Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, among others. - **Documentation:** Produce comprehensive documentation for the SDKs, including installation instructions, usage guidelines, and best practices for developers. - **Testing and Quality Assurance:** Develop and execute unit, integration, and compatibility tests to ensure the robustness and performance of the SDKs on different Smart TV platforms. - **Version Management and Updates:** Oversee version control and ensure backward compatibility when rolling out updates and new SDK versions. - **Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve SDK-related issues by collaborating with support teams to address customer-reported problems effectively. - **Stay Current with Smart TV Trends:** Remain updated with the latest advancements in Smart TV technologies, APIs, and platforms, and integrate relevant innovations into the SDKs. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven track record as a Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (Nice to have), with at least 10 years of professional experience. - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript along with a comprehensive understanding of the React ecosystem. - Experience working with Smart TV platforms, development tools, and SDKs (e.g., Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku). - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues on Smart TV platforms. - Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork. - Enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions for Smart TV platforms and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
