Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with 2–3 years of experience to join our engineering team. You’ll design and build scalable backend systems, power impactful product features, and solve challenging engineering problems in a high-growth environment. This is a unique opportunity to work closely on Generative AI initiatives — from integrating LLM-powered capabilities to building intelligent features that will shape the future of our platform. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot. Translate functional and business requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. Optimize system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability and resilience. Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and comprehensive unit tests. Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams to deliver impactful features. Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas to improve our architecture and processes. Requirements Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and deep experience with the Spring Boot framework and its ecosystem. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency concepts. Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases. Experience building and scaling distributed systems and RESTful APIs. Desired Skills: Ability to break down complex problems into modules and propose effective, scalable solutions. Exposure to distributed system components such as: Web servers: Apache Tomcat, Nginx Message Queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ Caching: Redis, Aerospike, Memcached Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of Generative AI concepts such as LLMs, RAG, RAGBots, and prompt engineering.
