Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using .NET Framework and .NET Core (C#, Web API, MVC).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable communication between services.
• Work with SQL Server and other relational databases for data modeling, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to support application interfaces using AngularJS and Angular, and assist with integration as required.
• Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and debug production and development issues to ensure seamless operation of applications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to backend services and API contracts.
• Proactively suggest improvements to architecture, design, and existing code to enhance performance and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where appropriate to improve product quality and delivery.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using .NET technologies (C#, Web API, MVC).
• Strong working knowledge of Angular (AngularJS and Angular 2+) for component development and UI integration.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end support when required.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Expertise in SQL Server, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Adaptable to evolving technologies, tools, and project requirements.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).
