As a Lead/Sr SDE (Android) at Freecharge, a subsidiary of Axis Bank Limited, you will play a crucial role in defining the future architecture of the platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning end-to-end feature development using the latest architecture and design patterns to write secure and performant code in collaboration with product, UX/UI, and backend teams. - Building reusable libraries, tool-kits, and developer tools for multiple mobile teams. - Monitoring the performance of live apps and continuously enhancing them at both code and user experience levels. - Reviewing code, sharing knowledge, tips, and tricks, and mentoring other team members to maintain high coding standards. - Evaluating and proposing new mobile methodologies and technologies to enhance the platform. - Collaborating with a team of smart, entrepreneurial, and motivated individuals in an agile environment. - Demonstrating strong team-playing skills and the ability to mentor other team members. To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Software Engineering. - Proficiency in modern Android programming paradigms, including Kotlin, Java, RxJava, etc., and experience in writing unit and functional tests. - Solid experience in Kotlin and architectural designing, along with a strong understanding of SOLID principles. - Expertise in API design, SDK architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices. - Familiarity with MVVM architecture, including LiveData and ViewModels. - Experience in technologies like Coroutines, multithreading, RxJava, Retrofit. - Strong fundamentals in computer science, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. - Deep understanding of software engineering practices and Object-Oriented Analysis. - Knowledge of the latest Android libraries such as JetPack components.
