Job Description

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, your role involves analyzing code review reports and development quality to ensure best practices are being followed. You will also be responsible for developing and monitoring quality gating and automation strategies for projects, focusing on code coverage and API vs UI level functionality. Your strong knowledge of programming, tools, architecture patterns, and BDD will be crucial in ensuring performance and scalability for applications and platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, and early performance testing - Developing frameworks and configurations, reviewing analysis to ensure adherence to quality standards - Supporting quality/test strategy creation, testing, and automation - Developing and executing test plans for a single application, generating test data independently, and recognizing test environment preparation needs - Participating in project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections, and conducting test reviews for plans, requirements, cases, and automation - Identifying process improvement opportunities, defining and implementing simple automation efforts, and documenting automated testing solutions - Designing and coding test automation solutions for user journeys in collaboration with the Test and Development team - Providing technical support to junior team members and managing smaller projects/initiatives as an experienced individual contributing specialized knowledge within the assigned discipline - Assisting in evaluating manual testing tools for automation opportunities To excel in this role, you should have experience in advanced code development, quality review software development, and automation frameworks. You should also have a track record of developing high-quality test strategies and execution, understanding test environment preparation needs, familiarity with agile and waterfall testing methodologies and tools, unit and integration testing, and data virtualization tools. Additionally, you should demonstrate the ability to communicate application-level directions across departments, coordinate components of small-scale projects, follow quality standards, processes, and tools during customer interactions, gain exposure to business and report writing, navigate the organization to find internal resources and tools, and have an introduction to product development and process analysis.,
