Senior Software Architect

As a Senior Software Engineer at Amla Commerce, you will be responsible for designing and creating software solutions from concept to completion. You will act as an independent developer, collaborating with the Amla Commerce team to solve challenging business problems. Your role will involve promoting best practices and working closely with Project Managers, Tech Leads, Testing Engineers, and other developers. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in design and code reviews, and prepare necessary design and analysis documents for applications. - Write application architecture specifications and assist in building walk-through prototypes. - Provide status reports to the onsite team. - Design and develop Software Solutions using various .NET frameworks. - Utilize your understanding of the full software life cycle and strong knowledge in Design Methodology like UML. - Interact with clients to understand their needs and define product objectives. - Code according to technical specifications provided. - Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects. - Conduct maintenance programming and correct identified defects. - Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses. - Assist in supporting and growing development platform(s). - Support business development activities by applying the MRR Soft quality process. - Develop applications based on customer requirements and industry standards. - Collaborate with technical writers to document, verify, and validate product features. - Work with test/quality assurance engineers to define test plans, identify defects, and provide fixes. - Communicate effectively and present project outputs to the team. - Mentor and guide team members based on their developmental needs. - Research standard extensions/solutions for common business applications. - Conduct usability testing and assessments for products. - Ensure customer satisfaction is a high priority by participating in client calls for status updates. Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in .Net technologies. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, MCA, or equivalent. - Extensive experience in web development using .Net framework. - Proficiency in ASP.Net with C#, Web Services, SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL/UDDI, UML modeling, JavaScript, SSL, XHTML, CSS, and AJAX. - Expertise in Windows Forms Applications, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, and .NET - Integration Technologies. - Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation. Nice-to-have Requirements: - Working knowledge of mobile development. - Familiarity with web hosting solutions on IIS7. - Experience working with an offshore onsite development process.
