Key Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

• Lead the refactoring and modularization of a large legacy monolith into a scalable, maintainable, and reusable architecture.
• Define and implement modern application patterns (microservices, modular monolith, domain-driven design, etc.).
• Architect and enforce best practices for

  ASP.NET Core

  , including middleware configuration, dependency injection, API design, and performance optimizations.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to create architectural blueprints and technical roadmaps.

Application Development & Refactoring

• Hands-on development in

  C# / .NET Core

  , guiding the team by example with clean, testable, and well-structured code.
• Introduce and enforce coding standards, code reviews, and development patterns.
• Identify high-risk or high-complexity legacy components and lead targeted refactorings.
• Implement reusable libraries, shared services, and improved module boundaries.

Front-End Integration (React.js)

• Provide architectural direction for React applications consuming .NET APIs.
• Work with frontend developers to ensure clean integration between backend services and client-side apps.
• Introduce best practices for state management, component composition, and code reusability.

Cloud Architecture (AWS)

• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ECS/EKS).
• Build deployment pipelines and infrastructure using IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Introduce cost-efficient architectures and optimize existing cloud usage.

DevOps, CI/CD, and Testing

• Establish a complete CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Introduce automated unit testing, integration testing, and code coverage standards.
• Integrate quality gates and testing workflows into the build and deployment process.
• Improve observability by implementing logging, monitoring, and performance profiling.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a technical mentor for the engineering team, promoting continuous improvement.
• Partner with product, QA, and engineering leadsto drive technical priorities and roadmap.
• Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and technical debt clearly to stakeholders.
