Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Your role will involve working on the following key responsibilities: - Designing and maintaining monitoring solutions for infrastructure, application performance, and user experience. - Implementing automation tools to streamline tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure seamless deployments. - Ensuring application reliability, availability, and performance to minimize downtime and optimize response times. - Leading incident response, from identification and triage to resolution and post-incident analysis. - Conducting capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization. - Collaborating with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance. - Managing deployment pipelines and configuration management for consistent and reliable app deployments. - Developing and testing disaster recovery plans and backup strategies. - Collaborating with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to align on reliability goals and incident response processes. - Participating in on-call rotations and providing 24/7 support for critical incidents. Qualifications required for this role include: - Overall 10-18 years of IT experience with strong experience as an SRE. - Strong hands-on expertise in core SRE practices and fundamentals like Error Budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs. - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible). - Proficiency in development technologies such as Python, Go (Golang), Java, Ruby, or Kotlin, and architectures and platforms like web and API. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IaC tools. - Solid experience in observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, and logging frameworks like Splunk and ELK Stack. - Experience with containerization and orchestration. - Experience in incident management/Response (RCA/CAPA) and post-mortem reviews. - Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps). - Ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes. - Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
