Job Description

Core Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:

  • Customer Interaction & Intake:
  • Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns.
  • Document customer issues clearly and thoroughly.
  • Gather vehicle information (VIN, mileage, service history, etc.).
  • Create repair orders (ROs) in the system.
  • Diagnosis Coordination:
  • Communicate customer concerns to technicians accurately.
  • Follow up with technicians to get diagnostic results.
  • Ensure that all issues reported by the customer are properly addressed.
  • Estimates & Approvals:
  • Prepare repair cost estimates, including labor, parts, and taxes.
  • Get approval from the customer before performing any work.
  • Explain repairs, timelines, and costs to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Repair Process Oversight:
  • Monitor the status of vehicle repairs.
  • Communicate delays, issues, or additional repairs as needed.
  • Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Vehicle Delivery:
  • Review completed work with technicians and quality-check if necessary.
  • Explain the repairs and final invoice to the customer.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction before handing back the vehicle.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Process payments and invoices.
  • Schedule future maintenance appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and customer interactions.
  • Customer Satisfaction & Retention:
  • Handle complaints or concerns tactfully and escalate when needed.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Encourage service loyalty through follow-ups and reminders.

Daily Workflow (Simplified):

  • Morning: Check appointments, open shop, greet early customers.
  • Midday: Coordinate ongoing repairs, call customers for approvals.
  • Afternoon: Review completed vehicles, handle pick-ups, resolve complaints.
  • Evening: Close out repair orders, finalize paperwork, prep for next day.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
