Senior Security Compliance Analyst - TPRM

You will be joining Snowflake as a Senior Security Risk Analyst in the Global Security Compliance & Risk team. Your role will involve managing and enhancing the program for evaluating the risk of third-party tools and services used by Snowflake. You will oversee the intake process, gather necessary information from stakeholders, understand the use case for each tool/service, review documentation, and ensure compliance with security controls to protect Snowflake assets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently conduct ongoing third-party security risk assessments to identify and evaluate security risks - Provide comprehensive evaluations and actionable recommendations based on security and compliance best practices - Support and monitor remediation efforts for identified gaps and validate closure through remediation audits - Review evidence to compare vendor security controls with Snowflake data protection requirements - Assess and manage security findings from various vendor security monitoring systems - Develop and enhance security documentation - Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve team objectives - Take a risk-based approach to review and negotiate security agreements - Measure program effectiveness and ensure SLA compliance - Establish points of view, negotiate effectively, and drive outcomes with stakeholders **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of experience in security compliance with at least 3 years in third-party security risk - Strong motivation and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments - Understanding of security best practices and technologies - Flexibility to work across different time zones - Excellent communication skills for technical document writing and presentation - Deep knowledge of industry regulations and standards - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Technical competence to explain complex security concepts to various stakeholders - Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Strategic thinking with attention to detail and strong ownership ethic - Ability to lead meetings and engage with internal/external stakeholders - High ethical standards and successful background checks,
