Senior Secondary Economics Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Economics lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and economic reasoning among students.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments.
• Use innovative teaching methodologies, including digital tools and real-world case studies.
• Organize academic events like economics quizzes, seminars, and group discussions.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher interactions.
• Maintain a conducive classroom environment that supports learning and discipline.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Economics (essential); B.Ed. (preferred/required as per board norms).
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
• Familiarity with [CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board] curriculum.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in using technology and smart classroom tools.

Pay: ₹14,398.85 - ₹60,000.00 per month
