Senior Scientist

As a Biosimilar Process Development Scientist, your role involves strategizing the process development using CHO & other mammalian cell lines for non-infringing Upstream processes. You will be responsible for understanding cell lines, cell culture, and bioreactor processes for biotherapeutic proteins development in India and other regulated countries. Your key responsibilities include: - Planning and executing experiments for process development at shake flask and bioreactor stages - Formulating media & feed, verifying components" roles, and utilizing spent media analysis for process improvement - Designing and conducting process characterizations for upstream development - Scale up & scale down operations at various bioreactor scales - Analyzing scientific research data using statistical software to interpret trends and patterns - Leading a team for day-to-day cell culture works and coordinating with other groups for project completion - Overseeing work performance at production plants or manufacturing units - Supporting commercialization activities such as tech transfer, process validation studies, and troubleshooting Your qualifications should include being well-versed in the latest upstream-related instruments, cell culture, and bioreactor processes. You should be a team player, exhibit good documentation practices, demonstrate scientific acumen, and possess clear communication skills in English. Additionally, you should have a good working knowledge of MS Office, statistical software, and analytical tools. Ideally, you hold a PhD or post-doc degree with bioprocess cell culture experience from abroad. You are expected to engage in scientific discussions, be a constant learner, and deliver targeted outcomes efficiently.,
