Senior Sap Sd Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP SD consultants in implementation, customization, and support activities.
  
• Collaborate with clients to understand business processes and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
  
• Drive complete project cycles including AS-IS, TO-BE, Fit-Gap, BBP, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
  
• Utilize strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge to deliver optimized SD functionalities.
  
• Configure and support core SD processes: Master Data, Material Info Records, Pricing Procedures, Shipping Point Determination, Returns, Free Goods, FOC Deliveries, Credit/Debit Memo Requests, Credit Management, Consignment Processes, and Picking.
  
• Handle GST-based sales processes including Domestic, Export, E-Invoice, E-Way Bill, TCS, STO, and Trading.
  
• Ensure smooth integration of SD with FI, MM, and PP modules.
  
• Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation including FS, BBP, test scripts, training materials, and project reports.
  
• Stay updated with SAP SD trends and guide the team with best practices and new technologies.
  
• Support end-to-end implementation projects with strong problem-solving and client-interaction abilities.

• Support end-to-end implementation projects with strong problem-solving and client-interaction abilities.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum end-to-end SAP SD implementation experience with hands-on S/4HANA exposure.
  
• Strong understanding of Indian statutory requirements with experience working for at least one Indian company.
  
• In-depth knowledge of GST, Domestic & Export processes, E-Invoicing, and E-Way Bill integration in SAP.
  
• Excellent functional expertise in pricing, sales processes, credit management, consignment, and returns.
  
• Familiarity with export documentation (added advantage).
  
• Strong understanding of SD integration with FI, MM, and PP.
  
• Proficient in SAP implementation methodologies such as ASAP and Activate.
  
• Strong communication, documentation, and team-leadership skills.
  
• Ability to guide, coach, and manage SD consultants effectively.
