Senior SAP PP & S/4HANA Functional Consultant

If you are passionate about making a global impact, working with next-gen technologies, and collaborating with sharp teams, this opportunity could be a perfect match for you. - **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with S/4 PP functionality - Implement SAP PP, configure, and design solutions in the production execution process - Gather requirements from customers and design custom solutions after fit-gap analysis - Utilize planning functions in PP such as Demand management, MRP, Capacity planning, and scheduling - Understand variant configuration, engineering change management, and its impact on manufacturing - Experience with MES solutions: Gather inputs, design, and integrate with SAP/ERP - Familiarity with production line concepts, line balancing, Takt-based production, Andon, JIT, Kanban, shop floor quality control, FTT - Support an environment integrated with an MES and design operator dashboards for shop floor personnel - Understanding of complementary modules like QM, MM, PM - Support a technical team in creating custom enhancements in ERP for shop floor execution process - Engage in customer-facing discussions, gather requirements, modulate discussions, and present solutions - Work as part of a solution delivery team in an agile/sprint mode: Create designs, specifications, unit testing, support UAT, and go-live - Provide run-time support, handle production issues, investigate, resolve, and close them in a timely manner - **Qualifications Required:** - 8 to 10 years of overall experience with expertise in shop floor execution, preferably in the automobile industry - Hands-on experience in discrete manufacturing - Experience in designing custom function modules, programs, labels, and prints - Experience in customer-facing discussions and solution presentations - Experience in supporting a technical team in creating custom enhancements in ERP - Experience working in a solution delivery team, preferably in an agile/sprint mode - Ability to handle production issues, investigate, resolve, and close them timely In addition to the job specifics, Volvo Group is committed to shaping a future of efficient, safe, and sustainable transport solutions.
