Senior Salesforce Test Engineer

As a Senior Salesforce Test Engineer for Digital Technology at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in validating and ensuring the quality of existing systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Completing all steps of the SDVLC documentation, including interpreting functional requirements, writing test plans, executing system integration testing, and documenting the results. - Utilizing tools for systems testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure adequate testing. - Identifying and implementing continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and add value to clients. - Maintaining a broad understanding of current testing software technologies. - Assisting in unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. - Multitasking assignments and exercising judgment regarding escalations. - Maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, process owners, technical peers, and functional peers through effective communication and collaboration. - Developing a strong practical understanding of technologies deployed within the department. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications. - Experience with creating automation test scripts using Selenium, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps. - Proficiency in Salesforce testing tools such as Salesforce Inspector, Data Loader, and Workbench. - Ability to develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for various Salesforce Clouds. - Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure solution stability and quality. - Capability to identify, log, and track defects, and collaborate with the development team for issue resolution. - Ensure that all Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations meet specified requirements and quality standards. - Verify data integrity and perform data validation testing across different Salesforce Clouds. - Conduct end-to-end testing of Salesforce processes and workflows, including custom Apex and Visualforce components. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. - Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders. - Participation in Agile/Scrum activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. - Salesforce Administration certification is a plus.
