For this project we are seeking a Sr. Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Project Safety Plan, ensuring compliance with Indian statutory requirements, Metro Rail Safety Guidelines, and ISO 45001 standards.
Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA) for civil, track, OHE, signalling, and MEP works, ensuring preventive and control measures are in place.
Carry out site safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks, and enforce corrective actions with contractors and subcontractors.
Lead accident/incident investigations, prepare root cause analysis reports, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for project staff and workmen to promote a proactive safety culture.
Coordinate with Independent Safety Assessors (ISA), metro rail authorities, and statutory bodies to ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee and periodically test the Emergency Response & Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP), ensuring readiness of safety systems.
Maintain statutory safety records and prepare monthly safety performance reports for project management and authorities.

Graduate with minimum 12 years of experience working in Metro/Railways/Large Infrastructure projects.
