Job Description

Ensure cost-effective, non-infringing route selection and process development for both existing and new products.
Conduct feasibility assessments, optimization studies, and process validation in the lab, followed by seamless tech-pack transfer.
Design and execute experiments involving a wide range of organic reactions, including product characterization and process condition optimization.
Lead the end-to-end development of new products from concept through to commercialization.
Manage R&D projects from ideation to execution, including planning, experimentation, data analysis, and reporting.
Perform 2 3 chemical reactions daily while providing leadership and guidance to Research Associates (RAs) and Senior Research Associates (SRAs).
Identify and control critical process parameters to ensure reproducibility, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Product Monitoring & Technical Support
Support cost-reduction initiatives, troubleshooting, performance testing, and the development of new molecules as directed by the R&D or business teams.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve process issues to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain competitiveness of key projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Scale-Up & Manufacturing Support
Lead scale-up activities for new products, ensuring smooth transitions from lab to pilot plant and full-scale production.
Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring all team members are trained and compliant.
Support plant commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure successful startup and sustained operations.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and business teams to resolve production challenges and optimize processes.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all experimental work is documented in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards immediately after execution.
Maintain accurate and complete lab records to support regulatory and quality compliance
