Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of junior to mid-level professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide actionable coaching and support team members to meet team-level turnaround times (TAT).

2. Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders on the client side in collaboration with the Business Development team.
  • Identify and address explicit and implicit client needs to propose optimal solutions.
  • Cross-sell and present innovative, value-added services of Insight Alpha to clients.
  • Establish new referral partnerships with both experts and clients.

3. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Propose and implement process enhancements to save time, reduce costs, or improve outcomes.

4. Performance Development

  • Train and mentor team members throughout the year, fostering their career growth and performance improvement.
  • Oversee team feedback processes and drive performance enhancement initiatives.

5. Problem Solving

  • Analyze complex challenges and develop innovative strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address issues, proposing effective solutions.

6. Strategic Impact

  • Contribute to the firm's ability to deliver high-quality executive talent, ensuring the success and growth of client businesses.

Candidate Profile

1. Experience

  • 5+ years in external client-facing roles within professional services organizations such as consulting, executive search, financial services, or market research firms.
  • Experience managing a team of 6-8 associates/Sr. associates, including providing feedback, performance improvement, and line management.

2. Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present, write, and interact effectively using various channels (telephone, email, in-person).
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to handle exceptions and make decisions aligned with the firm's vision.
  • Exceptional stakeholder/customer management skills, with the ability to nurture relationships and achieve business priorities.

3. Abilities

  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Agile mindset with a curiosity for new practices and enthusiasm to experiment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.

4. Education

  • Postgraduate/Graduate degree required.
