Senior React Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end architecture. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly applications. This role requires both hands-on coding and mentorship of junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

• Build, optimize, and maintain front-end applications using React.js, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
• Develop reusable, modular, and scalable UI components.
• Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible designs.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO (where applicable).

Code Quality & Standards

• Follow coding standards, best practices, and design patterns (e.g., atomic design, component-driven development).
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing using Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to project guidelines.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with architects to align solutions with system-wide architecture.
• Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest trends in React, JavaScript, and front-end technologies.
• Contribute to internal frameworks, libraries, and documentation.
• Suggest improvements in processes, tools, and performance optimization.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5–8 years in front-end development, with at least 3+ years in React.js.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience in React.js, Hooks, Context API, Redux (or Redux Toolkit).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
  • Solid understanding of UI frameworks (Material-UI, Ant Design, TailwindCSS, Fluent UI or Styled Components).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and authentication flows (OAuth/JWT).
  • Familiarity with performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting, SSR, caching strategies).
  • Hands-on with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library, Playwright).
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
