Senior Quality Assurance Tester

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated) to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Your role will involve performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web and mobile platforms. You will need to identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems like JIRA and collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high product quality. Additionally, participating in requirements reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality risks, ensuring test coverage, maintaining test data, and supporting test environment setup will be part of your responsibilities. You are expected to contribute to continuous improvements in test processes, tools, and techniques. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in software QA and testing. Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools, as well as experience with test case management and defect tracking tools like TestRail, JIRA, or Bugzilla, is required. An understanding of SDLC and different software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), basic knowledge of databases with the ability to write SQL queries for data validation, and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs are also essential. Additionally, experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, exposure to mobile app testing on iOS and Android, and knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner would be advantageous. Possession of an ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is preferred.
