Key Responsibilities:

Audit Activities:

Conduct daily/weekly audits of charge entries, payment postings, and rejection resolutions.
Validate CPT, ICD-10 codes, modifiers, and payer-specific requirements for charge posting.
Review payment postings for accuracy, correct application of adjustments, and reconciliation with remittance advice.
Verify timely and accurate resolution of claim rejections and front-end denials.

Compliance & Accuracy:

Ensure adherence to HIPAA, payer guidelines, and internal SOPs.
Identify trends in errors and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain audit logs and prepare quality scorecards for all three scopes.
Share insights with operations teams to reduce rework and improve first-pass yield.

Training & Feedback:

Provide feedback to Charge Posters, Payment Posters, and Rejection Specialists.
Assist in creating SOP updates and training materials based on audit findings.

Graduate in any stream (mandatory).
24 years of experience in healthcare RCM with exposure to charge posting, payment posting, and denial/rejection management.
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and payer-specific rules.
Proficiency in billing software and MS Office tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred:

Certification in QA methodologies.
Experience in multi-specialty or physical therapy billing.

KPIs:

Audit accuracy percentage across all scopes.
Error reduction rate and first-pass yield improvement.
Timeliness of audit completion and feedback delivery.
