Senior QA Engineer - Sales Intel

As a Senior QA Engineer based in Jaipur, India, with 6 to 8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. In this full-time position with a shift timing from 10 am to 7 pm, you will collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand and validate requirements through comprehensive testing procedures. Your responsibilities will include participating in design reviews to provide valuable input on requirements, product design, and potential issues. By reviewing software requirements, you will prepare detailed test scenarios and develop and execute thorough test plans and strategies for both manual and automated testing. Interacting with clients to gather product requirements will also be a key aspect of your role, ensuring alignment between expectations and deliverables. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be expected to analyze test results for database impacts, errors, bugs, and usability issues, and conduct manual and performance testing across various platforms including web, mobile, and desktop applications. Additionally, you will take the lead on end-to-end software testing projects, encompassing the creation of test plans, test cases, effort estimation, and test reporting. Your role will involve performing different types of testing such as functional, UI/UX, performance, security, and architecture testing. Proficiency in utilizing relational and non-relational databases like MySQL for database testing will be essential, while experience with automation frameworks, programming languages (preferably Python), and tools for requirement management, test case management, bug tracking, and version control will be advantageous. Within the Preferred Skills & Qualifications, strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are highlighted as crucial attributes for success in this role. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with ISTQB or equivalent software testing certifications, are preferred qualifications. Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins, version control systems like Git, and performance testing tools like JMeter is desired within the Tools & Technologies domain. Additionally, experience in implementing CI/CD practices using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, and operating within Agile/Scrum environments, will be valuable assets in excelling in this position.
