Senior QA Engineer (ERP)

Job Description

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Location: Bengaluru Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of manual testing experience in ERP, a strong understanding of SQL databases, and proficiency with test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans and cases within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, review, and execute detailed manual test cases based on requirements and design documents Perform thorough manual testing to identify bugs and issues across different modules Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software Maintain and update test cases in Zephyr Test Management tool Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and validate database updates Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tool enhancements Provide mentorship to junior QA team members Required Skills and Experience: 4-5 years of manual testing experience in software quality assurance Strong working knowledge of ERP, SQL and database validation Hands-on experience with Jira, Zephyr or similar test management tools Well-versed with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Strong communication skills and attention to detail Experience with API testing and automation (preferred but not mandatory) Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
