Senior QA Engineer

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and upgrading Manual or Automated test scripts for Business Intelligence applications, utilities, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. Additionally, you will write Postman and Playwright automated tests and perform usability testing to ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Your role will involve effectively communicating testing activities and findings both orally and in written form. You will ensure that database solutions are available, accurate, and developed according to business requirements. Managing your own daily test activities, providing internal quality assurance, and offering technical guidance throughout the development process will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will support the test lead in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies, as well as organizing and maintaining the test script library. Other duties as assigned may also be part of your role. To succeed in this position, you should have knowledge of software testing methods, tools, and technology, as well as quality management methods to support defect-free application software. Familiarity with application development methodologies, database engines, automation tools, and principles is essential. Proficiency in languages like C#, Selenium, Playwright, or API/Postman, along with working knowledge of Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps, will be beneficial. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively in an agile development environment. Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, vendors, and the public.,
