Senior QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Lead at Clove Dental, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers to ensure the quality of software products through functional testing, manual testing, and automation testing. Your role will involve developing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios for both manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time, while continuously improving testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to testing best practices. - Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios for both manual and automated testing. - Perform manual functional testing and design/maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit. - Oversee the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolution of issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality. - Document test results, defects, and progress updates, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. - Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. - Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to keep up with industry trends and improve testing capabilities. Qualifications Required: - 4-5 years of experience in QA with expertise in manual and automation testing. - Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including writing and executing test cases, defect tracking, and reporting. - Solid understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies. - Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting. - Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify areas for test improvement. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus. - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is advantageous.
