Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will play a crucial role in refining and enhancing the capabilities of existing systems to meet engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new product introduction related healthcare application systems. Additionally, you will advocate for best practices and internal business processes in a collaborative peer environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. - Conduct various types of manual testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects. - Provide clear and concise bug reports with steps to reproduce and expected results. - Understand API specifications and design test cases to validate API functionality, performance, and security. - Execute API tests using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. - Verify API requests and responses, ensuring data formats, status codes, and error handling are correct. - Perform performance testing of APIs to guarantee scalability and responsiveness. - Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in databases. - Test data manipulation operations (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) and database components like stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Analyze database schemas and maintain data relationships. - Utilize knowledge of Agile methodology and Sprint ceremonies. Qualifications: - Full-time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers).
