Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality assurance efforts for our web-based applications. Your expertise in web technologies and automation will be key in guiding the transition of our Moldflow Injection Molding working group to web technologies. Working from our Pune location, you will lead the team in adopting automation, designing testing strategies, and ensuring the quality and performance of our products. Your responsibilities will include leading QA efforts for web-based applications, developing comprehensive test plans and test cases, maintaining automation frameworks, implementing automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines, and architecting testing strategies for both desktop and web-based applications. You will collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, mentor junior QA engineers, and stay updated with industry trends in web QA and automation. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance focusing on web technologies. Your expertise in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Robot Framework will be essential. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also required.
