About the Role

Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  manual testing

  of web applications (functional, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing).
• Test applications integrated with

  Point-of-Sale systems

  and

  third-party APIs

  .
• Execute

  regression and smoke tests

  to ensure product stability.
• Create and maintain

  test documentation

  (test cases, test plans, bug reports).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos, and stakeholder meetings.
  
• Maintain and support test environments.
  
• Assist in troubleshooting

  production issues

  .
• Contribute ideas and suggest improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years

  of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience testing

  web applications

  and

  RESTful web services

  .
• Solid understanding of

  software development life cycle (SDLC)

  and

  release management processes

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  test design techniques

  .
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for test data validation.
• Understanding of

  client-server architecture

  .
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  .
• Good communication skills in English (intermediate or higher).
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing

  complex applications with third-party integrations (APIs, services, etc.)

  .
• Hands-on with tools like

  JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Fiddler, Swagger

  .
• Exposure to

  automation frameworks

  (Python or Java) is a plus.
