Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at our company located in Jaipur, India, with 6 to 8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand and validate requirements through thorough testing. You will participate in design reviews, provide input on requirements and potential issues, and prepare test scenarios based on software requirements. Your role will involve developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for both manual and automated testing. You will interact with clients to gather product requirements, analyze test results for database impacts, errors, bugs, and usability issues, and perform various testing types such as functional, UI/UX, performance, security, and architecture testing. Utilizing relational and non-relational databases like MySQL for database testing will be part of your daily tasks. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will lead end-to-end software testing projects, including creating test plans, test cases, effort estimation, and test reporting. Your expertise in scripting and programming, especially in Python, will be valuable. Additionally, you will work on automation frameworks, CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI, and operate in Agile/Scrum environments. Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers, along with your strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, will be essential in this role. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with ISTQB or equivalent software testing certifications. Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, version control systems like Git, and performance testing tools like JMeter will be beneficial.
