As a QA Automation Engineer specializing in Cypress JavaScript/TypeScript, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through automation testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation test scripts using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript. - Performing thorough UI automation testing by leveraging your understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM structure. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman or Cypress's built-in API commands. - Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and define comprehensive test strategies. - Investigating and debugging test failures, documenting defects clearly, and ensuring resolution. - Maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks and test environments to facilitate scalable testing. You must possess the following skills: - Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and DOM. - Proficiency in API testing using Postman or Cypress. - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions (mandatory). - Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
