Senior QA Automation

As an Automation QA Lead at our company, you will be responsible for leading the automation testing strategy for our SaaS platform products. Your role will involve developing and maintaining automation frameworks, automating test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, providing mentorship and training, test reporting and documentation, and staying updated on industry trends and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Automation Testing Strategy: Take ownership of the automation testing strategy, including framework selection, tool evaluation, and implementation. - Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks tailored to SaaS applications. - Automate Test Cases: Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with QA managers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans. - Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation enhancements in our SaaS testing ecosystem. - Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance to QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning in automation testing best practices. - Test Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed test documentation and communicate test results to stakeholders. - Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in automation testing. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in automation testing, preferably in product companies focusing on SaaS platforms. - Proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc. - Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git). - Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, particularly in the context of SaaS applications. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their implications on SaaS testing. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes. - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.,
